Hiya! I'm Madeline 👋 I love exploration, creativity, and meeting new people. After school on the east coast, I followed my curiosities–and a job–out to SF where I've now been for the past 5 years. I'm deeply inspired by my community, its innovative culture, and the freedom of the great outdoors. I'm always wondering, and I'm often wandering.

Facts
I like to journal in cursive. I think it's a fading art.
While we live in a massive digital age, I believe that analog is making a comeback as we seek to connect more with classically human experiences.
I have a bias towards buying the funky-shaped fruit and vegetables at the grocery store. I also don't mind eating the end pieces of bread. I feel for those little guys—plus, mom said they always tasted better.
I strongly believe in the power of Lollipop moments, where we don't realize how something so small and everyday to us can have such a profound effect on someone else. I believe even more than we should acknowledge when those moments happen.
When I'm walking, I'll often go one earbud so I can still hear the rumblings of the street. I have yet to get airpods because I know they will make my life massively more convenient and simultaneously more tuned out of the world
I'm very conscious about the use of "My" vs. "Our" because it subtly reflects how we think about ownership and attribution. However, I also think women use the royal "we" more often than credit is deserved.
I'm passionate about music—as a form of expression, entertainment, and an enabling backbone to experiences and moments.

FAQ
Is it pronounced Ma-duh-LYN or Ma-duh-LINE?
I go by both, so whatever floats your boat! When I was 5, I chose my name (namesake Madeline), and I couldn't distinguish the difference at the time, so I've kept both ever since.
Do you go by Maddy?
Yes! I love being on a "nickname basis" with people. I also get Mads, Mad Su, Sad Mu, Maddy Su, Maddawg—if you have any others that spark your imagination, bring it on.
What's your spirit animal, Maddy?
A sea otter! They are these really curious and playful creatures that are quite sociable with one another yet also very independent and adaptive.
OK - I admit, I only get this question a lot because I ask this question a lot first.
Where are you from?
Pennsylvania! A little place called Erie, PA.
You say you're from Erie—where's that?
We're this little nib of the state
What do you do?
All sorts of things! I love being outdoors, going for bike rides & runs, chasing down sunsets, going on urban walks. I journal a lot and have been getting into a lot more reading recently. I also just started picking up the uke—who knew 4 chords could go so far?
I mean, what do you do for work?
Oh that! I'm currently in discovery mode for my next thing--finding the balance of impact on me vs. by me. If you want to learn more, ask me about my exploration log!
Previously was at Ubiqutiy6 focusing on growth and community for creators and identifying new product opportunities, and prior to that, I was at Ampush doing growth for other companies!
Any jams you've been listening to recently?
Yes here is my Spotify playlist called the roundup, where I add all my latest faves 👌
